Confirmation

For Young Adults in Religious Education:

During Confirmation, seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are given and received. These gifts are accompanied by fragrant chrism oil. The feel and the smell of the oil remind the newly confirmed that the Holy Spirit has conferred blessings and sacred gifts.

There is a two-year formation process to prepare candidates for Confirmation.  The formation process includes two years of classroom instruction as well as spiritual formation supported by service and retreat.

All components must be completed before Father Greg will declare the candidate ready to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
